our aim

HCLS aims to encourage, enable and empower all members to:

our vision

The HCLS aims are that of the Alliance aims, which are to be a fellowship of Great Commission churches who are glorifying God by

building Christ’s Church in Britain and throughout the world

our mission

Our mission is to know Jesus Christ as Lord, exalt Him as Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King; and complete His Great Commission:

  • Evangelising and discipling people of all cultures in the UK and all over the world.

'And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.' (Matthew 28:18-20)

statement of faith:
  1. We believe in the only true and living God, the Holy Trinity of divine persons in perfect unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each of whom is co-equal and co-eternal, and sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.

  2. We believe in the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is holy, righteous, full of grace, mercy, compassion and love. In His infinite love He sent forth the Son that the world through Him might be saved.

  3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, whose true humanity and full deity were mysteriously and really joined in the unity of His divine person. We believe in His virgin birth, in His perfect life and teaching, in His penal, substitutionary, atoning death on the cross where He triumphed over Satan, sin and death, in His bodily resurrection and His ascension into heaven, where He now sits in glory at the right hand of God.

  4. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, whose work is indispensable to regenerate the sinner, to lead him to repentance, to give him faith in Christ, to sanctify the believer in this present life and fit him to enjoy fellowship with God. For spiritual power and effectiveness His ministry is essential to the individual Christian and to the Church.

  5. We believe that as a result of the Fall all men are sinful by nature. Sin pollutes and controls them, infects every part of their being, renders them guilty in the sight of a holy God, and subject to the penalty of hell which, in His wrath and condemnation, He has decreed against it.

  6. We believe that through faith (and only faith) in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose death was a perfect oblation and satisfaction for our sins, the sinner is freely justified by God who, instead of reckoning to us our sins, reckons Christ’s righteousness to our account. Salvation is therefore by grace and not by human merit.

  7. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly and gloriously to this earth, to receive His saints to Himself, and to be seen of all men. As the righteous Judge, He will divide all men into two, and only two, categories – the saved and the lost. Those whose faith is in Christ will be saved eternally and will enter into the joy of their Lord, sharing with Him His inheritance in heaven. The unbelieving will be condemned by Him to the lake of fire where eternally they will be punished for their sins under the righteous judgement of God.

Home Church Live Stream is also a very active member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance GB, where we share fellowship, prayer times, activities such as conferences and management meetings. If you want to know more about the work of C&MA GB then please visit our website

history of hcls:

Home Church Live Stream (HCLS) began in the January of 2017 as a house church or as we like to affectionately call it home church. As time went on we felt the Lord call us to stream the services live on the internet and to use the Facebook platform for doing so. Slowly but surely the Lord began to bless His work and the HCLS Facebook group numbers began to rise and the encouraging response to this work of the Lord began to manifest through much support and involvement of many people around the world.

It is understandable when we hear someone criticise and online church and say "you cannot have fellowship and disciple people in an online church." In response to this statement, we would like to say that we all believe the scripture "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching", Hebrews 10:25 and understand that it is so vital for members of the church to have fellowship together face to face. However, this has always been the case for HCLS for the local home congregation, to which the Lord is gradually adding but the reality is that so many people around the world are also able to share and have fellowship with others during the HCLS services and afterwards as a result of joining the church and getting to know us and each other.

The other argument is that true and faithful doctrinal exegesis of the scriptures and preaching of the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, carried by the Holy Spirit to the hearts of men and women; disciples, matures and strengthens the believers to draw near to God and saves the lost and unbelievers. To quote Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones "“The Gospel edifies and evangelises at the same time." (Preaching and Preachers). Having said that, what is so wonderful and encouraging is the large number of involved members whom we have fellowship with and encourage and build up in the faith one to one on messenger or email or phone or video.

the four-fold gospel of the christian and missionary alliance

The Fourfold Gospel is the Christological summary on which the core values of The Christian and Missionary Alliance is based. Through dramatic spiritual encounters that changed the course of his life, Simpson came to firmly believe that Christ was not only his Saviour, but also his Sanctifier and Healer.

Alliance people share this rich legacy, as well as our founder’s passion to complete the Great Commission—to take the light of Christ to places where there is little access to the truth—and bring back our Coming King.

We are also members of the Alliance World Fellowship. The mission of the Alliance World Fellowship is to facilitate cooperation amongst its members (churches and organisations) as they work for the fulfilment of the Great Commission. The AWF has its roots in the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). It started as a movement in the 1880’s and developed into a mission-minded denomination with partners in more than 80 countries under a variety of names.

Jesus Christ is our Saviour.

The Name of Jesus has impacted lives around the world for more than 2,000 years. He is a universal Saviour, promising that: “whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus is an exclusive Saviour. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name in heaven given to men by which we must be saved” Acts 4:12. Contrary to what contemporary culture tells us, there are not multiple paths to God. There is only one—Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is our Sanctifier.

Many Christians understand God’s promise of salvation but do not experience the ongoing sanctifying work of Jesus Christ in their lives. For those who neither understand nor allow the Holy Spirit's control in their lives, the results have a profound effect.

Unsuccessful struggle against sin and a lack of power in life and ministry frustrate those who have asked Jesus to be their Savior but not their Sanctifier, resulting in a lack of joy in their walk with Christ. At the point when we are born again, we become members of God’s family. We believe He paid the price for our sin and that his followers are—set apart from those who are not born again—and are seen as holy because of what Christ has done.

Jesus Christ is our Healer.

A great portion of Christ’s time was dedicated to healing the sick. He healed all kinds of people: the blind, the paralyzed, the lame, the deaf, lepers, those who had fevers, and many with chronic illnesses.

We find no record in the gospels of Jesus turning away anyone who came to him for healing, nor do we find that any disease was too difficult for him to heal. He even raised the dead. Miraculous healings still occur today—evidence that Christ is still our Healer.

Jesus Christ is our Coming King.

The physical return of Jesus has been the subject of speculation and controversy since His ascension into the clouds, which is recorded in the New Testament Book of Acts. Knowing that countless millions still have not heard the gospel, The Alliance is committed to doing its part to complete Christ’s Great Commission before His imminent return.
